As summer gently transitions into the vibrant hues of autumn, and hopefully cools off, it’s that time of year when we bid farewell to vacations and embrace the excitement of a new school year. On behalf of the Oklahoma WIT team, we want to welcome you back to the school routine and offer a warm message of support.
As you fill backpacks with school supplies, lunch packs with goodies, and maneuver the drop-off lanes, remember you play a crucial role in nurturing your childrens’ growth and helping them navigate the educational journey ahead.
We, as parents and grandparents, encourage you to get involved in your child’s school life, be it through parent-teacher associations, volunteering opportunities, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations about their experiences. Your active participation can make a world of difference in their educational journey.

Dawn Corbett is a driven, self-motivated, elementary educator, and a molder of young minds. She has taught in public education for twenty plus years. Creating original content is something that she is passionate about and gets excited about. She knows the value of confidentiality, cooperation, and being a team player.
