From the classroom… To the parents!
- Don’t wait to be asked for help with supplies, just send them. Teachers hate asking, but believe me by December, we need more Kleenex!!!
- Have little ones practice opening different lunch items so they aren’t stuck waiting for help.
- Please have your child wear deodorant! After recess/PE/athletics it is funky in the classroom.
- Read to your kids. Even when they’re “too big” for that. They need it. It’s good for them. They aren’t just learning to read or getting a good story, they are learning about how important reading is to you and how much you care about them.
- Check your child’s backpack regularly, preferably daily.
